The Lolo armor is a protective weapon from the Chinese province of Sichuan.

description

The Lolo Armor is usually made of leather . The breastplate is made of several individual leather panels. The two largest plates serve as chest and back protection, the rest of the armor consists of smaller plates that are connected to each other with ropes made of plant fibers or leather straps. At the lower end of the breastplate are several leather hoops lying one below the other, which serve as protection for the thighs . These rings are also connected with ropes. At first glance, the Lolo armor is very similar to the armor of the samurai . A leather helmet is part of the equipment. It has a neck shield and is made in the same way as the breastplate. The leather surface is painted with traditional patterns in bright colors.
