The A60 or A62 Stock is a series of electric multiple units that were used on the Metropolitan Line of the London Underground and were replaced by the S Stock by 2012 . The number after the A indicates the planned commissioning (1960 or 1962), although the A60 Stock was not put into operation until 1961. The A Stock was officially decommissioned on September 26, 2012 and was in use for a total of 51 years. It is a large-profile train for paved roads.
