Longhi (family)

Longhi is the name of a family of Baroque architects in Rome . The family came from the village of Viggiù in Lombardy , to which they have always remained connected. However, the architects created their main work in Rome and its surroundings.

• Martino Longhi the Elder (* circa 1530 in Viggiù, † 1591 in Rome)

• Onorio Longhi (* 1568 in Viggiù; † 1619 in Rome), son of Martino Longhi the Elder

• Martino Longhi the Younger (* 1602 in Rome, † 1660 in Viggiù), son of Onorio Longhi
