The Longs Nunatak [sic!] Is a nunatak on the Budd coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . On the shores of Penney Bay opposite the Windmill Islands, it rises 1.5 km northwest of the Campbell Nunatak .
Aerial photographs of the US American Operation Highjump (1946–1947) were used to map it in 1955. The American polar explorer Carl Robert Eklund named him after Robert L. Long Jr., ionospheric physicist at Wilkes Station in 1957.
