Lords & Knights from the manufacturer Xyrality is a free online multiplayer computer game in a medieval setting for smartphones and PCs that combines elements of strategy and development games. The main part of the game is building castles in the classic building game manner and waging wars of conquest, as is typically done in strategy games .

Platforms

The specialty of the game is that players from all devices can meet on the same servers. This means that users have the option of managing their account both with mobile devices and via a web browser. After it was published in Apple's app store in the summer of 2011, the game enjoyed great popularity and became one of the top 10 best-selling apps. Lords & Knights has been published in 16 different languages ​​so far, including German, French, Italian, English, Russian, Japanese and Spanish. The browser version appeared in February 2012. An adaptation for Android devices appeared in May 2012.

Gameplay

The gameplay is based heavily on well-known browser games such as The Tribes or Travian . Each player is assigned a castle when he starts the game. In addition to expanding your own castle (s), it is possible to attack and take other castles - also from other players. You can also form alliances in which you take on different roles and exchange ideas with other players in the "live alliance chat".

The game has no goal to be achieved, there is only the incentive to expand your empire and be able to defend yourself against the other players.
