Louis Heudelinne

Louis Heudelinne (* before 1680, † after 1705) was a French composer and viol player .

Live and act

Louis Heudelinne was a contemporary of Marin Marais and was one of the musicians active in the provinces outside of the French capital. He worked in the service of the rich Marquis de Becdelièvre in Rouen , President of the Parliament of Normandy.

Heudelinne published his Trois suites de pièces pour la viole in type printing by Christophe Ballard in 1701 , works which were reprinted a year later by Estienne Roger in Amsterdam using the engraving method . Another volume, " Second livre pour le dessus et basse de violle et pour le violon et le clavessin triots et sonates ", was published in 1705 by H. Foucault.
