Louis Jaehnigen

Franz Ludwig Jaehnigen (born September 30, 1801 in Magdeburg , † July 4, 1866 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer.

Life

After graduating from high school in his hometown Magdeburg in 1820, Jaehnigen studied law at the universities of Bonn and Berlin . In Bonn he was a member of the Corps Rhenania . In 1823 he became an auscultator, trainee lawyer in Berlin in 1825, and in Marienwerder in 1826. From 1829 he was assessor in Magdeburg and at the General Procuratorate at the Rhenish Court of Appeal in Trier. In 1839 he became a secret senior auditor in Berlin, in 1841 an advocate general with the character of a secret senior justice advisor at the Rhenish Auditing and Cassation Court, in 1847 general procurator and in 1852 vice-president of the upper tribunal in Berlin. In 1859 he was given the character of a Real Secret Higher Justice Councilor. Jaehnigen was a member of the State Council and the Prussian Manor and Syndic of the Prussian Crown.
