Louisa Hutton (* 1957 in Norwich , United Kingdom ) is a British architect .

Life

Louisa Hutton studied architecture at the University of Bristol until 1980 , then at the AA School of Architecture in London until 1985 . From 1984 to 1988 she worked for Alison Smithson and Peter Smithson . In 1989 Hutton founded the Sauerbruch Hutton office in London together with Mathias Sauerbruch , and in 1992 the office moved to Berlin . In 2005 Louisa Hutton was visiting professor at the University of Virginia and since 2008 she has been visiting professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design .
