Lourdes Chapel in Thal

The Roman Catholic Lourdes Chapel stands north of the parish church in the northern outskirts of the town of Thal in the Bregenzerwälder community Sulzberg in the district of Bregenz in Vorarlberg . The church is a listed building .

History and church building

The chapel was built around 1900. The rectangular building has a flat gable roof and arched windows. Inside there is an elaborately designed tuff stone grotto with a grille from the construction period. The glass windows, the benches and the floor mosaic are simply decorated with ornaments and also date from the construction period.
