Love House is a 1988 Samantha Fox song written by Ferdi and Rob Bolland . It appeared on the album I Wanna Have Some Fun .

history

The acid house title was released in November 1988 in Europe as the first single from Samantha's third album I Wanna Have Some Fun . In the United States, the third and final single on the album was released in early 1989. In Great Britain the song reached number 32, in Germany number 25 and in Switzerland number 19. In the United States, the song only made it to the dance charts, where it reached number 14.

Love House was one of the first acid house titles to hit the charts. Speaking of the rave era in 2009, Fox stated, “Of course I've seen the acid house scene. It really happened in London in the late 80s and acid house parties were held in empty warehouses that were booked for one night. "

Among the samples , a vocal part from Just That Type of Girl by Madame X is used. The Black Pyramid Mix for the song was produced by dance music pioneer Kevin Saunderson . On the B-side of the single, the title Don't Cheat On Me appeared .
