Love Me Again (German: Lieb mich wieder) is a song by the British soul singer John Newman and the debut single of his debut album Tribute , which was released in October 2013. The song was written by Steve Booker and Newman themselves and released as a download on May 17, 2013. In Great Britain he reached number one on the charts .

Music video

The music video tells the story of a couple who met in a Northern soul club in the 1960s. While Newman himself is on stage and sings, the two protagonists get to know each other away from the dance floor. The couple's companions want to prevent a relationship between the two, and while they get into a fight, the couple flees the club. As a result, it is captured by a van on the road, so it represents the end of the video. In general, the story is based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet . The director took Vaughan Arnell , who already for Robbie Williams and George Michael was active in retro Mildmay Club in Stoke Newington , a district of London .
