Music video
At the beginning of the music video, Lionel Richie stands up; then a woman writes a letter that Richie will read. Then he wants to call the woman, but before she picks up the receiver, he hangs up. Then he wants to drive to the woman, he drives under the Golden Gate Bridge and in a fadeout, Richie's route is shown as a map. Meanwhile, the woman packs her suitcase and also takes a picture of Lionel Richie with her. It rains late in the evening and Richie starts another attempt to call the woman in a phone booth, which again fails. When the woman is about to leave her house, Richie arrives in time and in the end they both kiss.
