Eberhard Saturday
Eberhard Sonnabend (born January 22, 1923 in Bochum ; † April 15, 2011 ) was a German dentist .
Career
From 1960 on, Saturday was head of the Conservative Dentistry Department at Göttingen University Medical Center . In 1969 he accepted a professorship as director of the Polyclinic for Dental Preservation and Periodontology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . As a representative of the Bavarian universities, he was a member of the board of the Bavarian State Dental Association for many years . As a co-founder and long-time chairman of the working group for radiology in the German Society for Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine (DGZMK), Sonnabend was one of the most famous representatives of this subject in Germany. For many years he was the only dental member of the German Radiology Standards Committee .
