Luís Gervasoni , called Itália , (born May 22, 1907 in Rio de Janeiro , † 1963 ) was a Brazilian football player of Italian descent.

From 1924 to 1925, Itália completed 23 games for Bangu AC . This was followed by a time at Vasco da Gama, which lasted from 1926 to 1937. In 1929, 1934 and 1936 the defensive player and his team Vasco da Gama won the Campeonato Carioca .

National team

Itália was a member of the national team of his home country and took part with her in the first football World Cup in 1930 . There he was used in the games against Bolivia and Yugoslavia . In 1932 he was part of the team that won the Copa Río Branco . The defender made a total of nine international matches for Brazil.
