Lubusi

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lubusi is an archaeological area and a river in the district of Kaoma in Zambia .

A fireplace with charcoal and metal objects was found between Sesheke and Senanga on the Zambezi , dated 900–1000 to the early Iron Age culture in Zambia. Furthermore, settlement remains of 25 villages from this time were found. The pottery was not of the same type as the one found at Sesheke from this period that was also used in the Victoria Falls area, but one that occurs further north.
