Luc Bonnet

Luc Bonnet (born February 5, 1983 in Herten , Germany ; † May 25, 2012 in Berlin ) was a German sound engineer, composer and producer.

Life

Born in the Ruhr area, Bonnet studied from 2003 to 2006 at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts Sound Technology. a. the Sennheiser Student Achievement Award.

After completing his studies, he traveled via London and New York to Berlin, where he met Henning Lohner . From then on, they worked together on various projects that also took Bonnet to California. In Los Angeles, where Bonnet lived until 2010 and also had a studio, he worked with artists such as Henning Lohner, David Baerwald , Martin Tillmann , Bart Hendrickson and John Lafia , as well as for Remote Control ( Hans Zimmer ). Since 2010 he has lived and worked mainly in Berlin.

He died on May 25, 2012 as a result of a serious motorcycle accident.
