Luca Novelli

Luca Novelli (born October 7, 1947 in Milan ) is an Italian writer .

Novelli studied agriculture at the University of Milan. Since 1968 he has been writing and drawing for magazines. In 1975 he published his first book, "Gli edenisti". In the same year he developed "Il laureato", a comic strip for newspapers.

Novelli dedicated himself in particular to scientific literature for children and young people. His first work in this genre was "Viaggio al centro della cellula", 1978.

Since 2001 he has been writing the series "Lampi di Genio", the copies of which are gradually appearing in German.

Novelli illustrates his books himself, with drawings in the style of cartoons. His role models are Saul Steinberg and Ennio Flaiano .
