Luca Tognozzi (born October 3, 1977 in Florence ) is an Italian football player who has been under contract with Pescara Calcio in Serie B since summer 2009 .
Career
Luca Tognozzi began his career in 1996 at Colligiana Calcio , for whose team he in the fifth-highest division, the series D , ran aground. Two years later he moved to the amateur club Castiglionese and signed the following year with the then third division Montevarchi Calcio Aquila in 1902 . However, he was never able to assert himself there and received no assignments. Tognozzi returned to the amateur leagues and then played for ASD Fortis Juventus 1909 and AC Sansovino in Serie D. In the summer of 2003, the fourth division AC Sangiovannese signed him in 1927 , with whom he made the playoff in his first season after a narrow success - Playing against AS Gubbio in 1910 made it to the next higher division.
In the summer of 2005, the midfielder signed with the second division Pescara Calcio . He scored two goals for the Biancoazzurri and secured relegation with the team. Then the first division club Reggina Calcio took him under contract, with which he ran regularly in the following period. In February 2009 he was signed by Brescia Calcio . The midfielder played 18 league games for Brescia and took part in the playoff games for promotion to Serie A at the end of the season with the team. After the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw, AS Livorno won the second leg 3-0 and thus secured promotion.
After the failed promotion to Serie A, Tognozzi signed again in July 2009 with the Abruzzo club Pescara Calcio . He made his debut on the first match day of the 2009/10 season for Pescara, when he was in the starting lineup in the 2-0 home win against Rimini Calcio and played through the entire game.
At the end of the 2009/10 season, he was promoted to the second division with Pescara. In the play-off finals, the team prevailed against Hellas Verona .
