The building at Lucas-Cranach-Straße 27 , the so-called Fiedlershaus, is a listed building in the old town of the Upper Franconian town of Kronach .

Location and description

The building is in the corner at the northwest end of Lucas-Cranach-Straße, opposite is the market square, north of Martinsplatz. It is a two-story, plastered half-timbered house with a gable roof and a slated gable .

history

The building was erected in 1674, the sandstone frames date from the 18th century.

The so-called Podersamer Heimatstube has been located in the building since 1986, documenting the history and culture of the Sudeten German city ​​and the Podersam home district and its former residents. On August 7, 1955, the city of Kronach took on the sponsorship of those displaced from their homeland and guaranteed them in a certificate Kronach as a "second home and main place for the maintenance and preservation of local traditions and culture".
