The Lucas Glacier is a glacier on South Georgia . It flows north to the Bay of Isles .
Robert Cushman Murphy mapped the glacier during his visit to South Georgia (1912–1913) aboard the brig Daisy . He named it after Frederic Lucas (1852-1929), at the time director of the American Museum of Natural History .
