Lucia Christmas Market
The Lucia Christmas Market is a Christmas market during Advent in the courtyard of the Kulturbrauerei in the Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg in the Pankow district . The Christmas market goes back to the legend of the Lucia festival . The organizer of the Lucia Christmas Market is Ketering Veranstaltung GmbH in cooperation with TLG Immobilien AG, Alte Kantine, Frannz-Club, Consense GmbH and Eightball Veranstaltung GmbH.

The Kulturbrauerei had the idea of organizing its own Christmas market with the aim of making the site and the Kulturbrauerei better known. The companies Ketering and Fête Company had been in contact with the Kulturbrauerei for a long time and offered to plan and hold a Christmas market, and from this the idea, the market and the name developed. The Christmas market in the courtyard of the Kulturbrauerei has existed since 2001.

The Christmas market now extends over the two large courtyards (courtyard 1 and courtyard 2) of the Kulturbrauerei with around 70 stands / structures (including a carousel ) from the entrance to Sredzkistraße to the entrance to Knaackstraße. In addition to German and Scandinavian food and drink, there is also handicrafts as well as bags, hats, stars, candles, bookmarks and the like to buy, as well as a festival program. Entry is free.
