Luciana Mello (born January 22, 1979 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian professional dancer and singer.

Life

At a young age, Mello began to practice her voice and dances and therefore took private lessons. As a child she sang in various choirs and later went to the theater. In the Brazilian pop music scene she took part in the project “Artistas Reunidos” (reunited artists) and shortly afterwards released her first solo CD ( Assim Que Se Faz ).

Her father ( Jair Rodrigues ) is also a Brazilian musician and singer. Jair Oliveira (her brother) is a producer, singer and songwriter with rights of his own.

The music that Mello makes can be assigned to the genre of Brazilian pop, soul and hip-hop and should also show "black music". Their style has been compared to that of Paula Lima and Elza Soares .
