Lucius Marcius Sabula

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lucius Marcius Sabula (full name form Lucius Marcius Luci filius Romilia Sabula ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma dated September 25, 111, shows that Sabula 111 was the commander of the Ala II Hispanorum et Aravacorum , which at that time was stationed in the province of Moesia Inferior ; the leadership of this unit may have been his third military command within the Tres militiae . Sabula was inscribed in the Tribus Romilia .
