Ludovic Mohammed Zahed

Ludovic-Mohamed Zahed (born September 29, 1977 in Algiers , Algeria ) is a French imam and author .

Life

Zahed studied Islamic theology . He works as an imam in Paris . In 2012 he opened an LGBT- friendly mosque in Paris . As an author, he wrote several works. He lectures on a liberal interpretation of Islam across Europe. In 2017, ARTE broadcast a report about its work as part of the Re: format .

Zahed lives in a same-sex marriage in France.
