Ludwig Bohrmann

Ludwig Bohrmann (born February 9, 1895 in Schifferstadt ; † May 8, 1952 in Weinheim ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Bohrmann joined the SPD and was mayor of the community of Weinheim from 1945 until his death . During the First World War he suffered a serious injury to his leg during the fighting. During the time of National Socialism he supported Jews in need, he was searched several times and he was interrogated several times. In March 1952 he was elected to the Constituent Assembly for Baden-Württemberg , to which he belonged until his death. For him moved Willi Rieple by the parliament. He was married to Luise Bohrmann. He had a daughter named Heloise Weber (née Bohrmann).
