Ludwig Buchinger

Ludwig Buchinger (born December 16, 1965 in Tulln an der Donau ) is an Austrian politician and businessman. From 1999 to 2001 he was a member of the Federal Council and from 2001 to 2003 a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament . Then he left the FPÖ.

education and profession

Buchinger attended primary school in Tulln between 1972 and 1976 and then continued his education at the local secondary school until 1980. Between 1980 and 1981 he attended business school and then learned the profession of butcher. He passed the master craftsman examination and did military service in 1984. Buchinger worked from 1981 to 1991 as a butcher and between 1991 and 1992 was in the field at Nannerl. He then worked for the FPÖ from 1992 to 1994 and in 1994 worked for Schaler & Deller. Buchinger started his own business with a Quelle agency in 1995 and was regional manager of the FPÖ Lower Austria from 2001-2003.

politics

Buchinger was a local councilor in Tulln between 1990 and 1995 and was elected to the city council in 1995. He represented the FPÖ between October 29, 1999 and June 27, 2001 in the Federal Council and was then a member of the state parliament from June 28, 2001 to April 24, 2003. He also held the function of city party chairman of the FPÖ Tulln from 1989 and from 1992 was district party chairman of the FPÖ Tulln. After leaving the state parliament, Buchinger withdrew from politics in 2003, but entered the municipal council election in Tulln in 2010 with the list "Tullner without party book". He achieved three seats with his list and was elected to the city council.
