Ludwig Kaufmann (Manager)

Ludwig Kaufmann (born June 1, 1884 in Burhave ; † November 19, 1980 ) was a German industrial manager .

Career

Kaufmann came as the son of Adolf Kaufmann and Johanne Kaufmann geb. Schwarting to the world. After passing his school leaving examination and two and a half years of practical training, he served in the Imperial Navy from 1904 to 1910 .

In 1910 he joined Deutsche Linoleum-Werke AG “Hansa” in Delmenhorst . In 1921 he was promoted to the board and later became director of the Delmenhorst plant. In 1956 he retired.

From 1927 to 1958 he was a member of the plenary assembly of the Oldenburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry . As a member of the CDU , he was a member of the Delmenhorst City Council from 1945 to 1948.
