Ludwig Winkler (politician)

Ludwig Winkler (born November 8, 1937 in Erdweis ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and office manager of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees in Lower Austria. From 1987 to 1993 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After completing compulsory school, Winkler attended the technical college for textile trade and was subsequently employed as a weaver. In 1980 he entered the service of the Chamber of Labor in Lower Austria and in 1981 rose to the position of district manager. Between 1986 and 1990 and from 2005 to 2010, Winkler was a local councilor in Horn (Lower Austria) , and on November 7, 1985, he replaced Franz Fürst in the Lower Austrian state parliament, of which he was a member until June 7, 1993.
