Ludwig Woltmann

Ludwig Woltmann (born February 18, 1871 in Solingen ; † January 30, 1907 ) was a German anthropologist , zoologist and Neo-Kantian .

Ludwig Woltmann is mentioned in the intellectual and ideological history of the 20th century with the racial theorists Gobineau and Chamberlain , especially with regard to his racial thought processes. His ideas are mainly propagated in the journal Politisch-Anthropologische Revue (1902–1907), which he founded, and in the 1903 book Political Anthropology . This and two other of his books were published in a summary by Otto Reche in 1936 .
