Luis E. Ibáñez
Luis Enrique Ibáñez Santiago , Luis E. Ibáñez for short or just Luis Ibáñez (born November 8, 1952 in Valencia ), is a Spanish theoretical physicist who deals with string theory.
Ibáñez is a professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid .
He is particularly concerned with the phenomenology of string theory and brane theories, i.e. their conclusions for the observable particle spectrum. With Uranga he wrote a standard textbook about it.
In 2012 he received an Advanced Grant from the European Research Foundation.
