Luis G. Roldan

Luis G. Roldán ( October 11, 1910 - May 30, 1986 ) was a Mexican singer.

Roldán was discovered as a singer by Miguel Lerdo de Tejada , who brought him to the radio station XEW in 1931. He performed there with the orchestra of Max Urban and was presented by the moderator Pedro de Lille as El cancionero romántico . For a short time he also worked with the declamator Manuel Bernal and the Dúo Michoacan . At the CBS in New York he alternated with the Los Panchos . He also appeared in several films, including himself in Servando González ' El hijo pródigo (1969).
