Luis Humberto Salgado
Luis Humberto Salgado (born December 10, 1903 in Cayambe , † December 11, 1977 in Quito ) was an Ecuadorian composer and pianist .
Life
Salgado studied at the Quito Conservatory until 1925 , where he was director and professor from 1934 to 1952. After that he lived as a freelance composer.
He composed four operas , one operetta , one melodrama and several ballets , nine symphonies and two symphonic poems , three piano concertos, one violin and one viola concerto, chamber music works, piano pieces and choral works.
