Lukas Pauli

Lukas Pauli (born November 25, 2000 in Altenburg ) is a German composer .

Life

Pauli received piano lessons from the age of six and later composition lessons from Fredo Jung . In 2016 he received 1st prize in the state competition Jugend Komposiert Hessen & Thüringen for the composition Waltz in B flat minor. Since 2017 he has been a member of the composition class of the renowned Thuringian composer Peter Helmut Lang in Weimar . Also in 2017 Lukas Pauli was awarded a 2nd prize for the melodic and sad "Valse triste" in the state competition Jugend composiert Hessen & Thüringen.

His orchestral work "Dream" was repeatedly honored in 2018 with a 1st prize in the competition Jugend composed Hessen & Thüringen. This work as well as a concerto for recorder (“Nebel”), which he composed for his friend, recorder player Clara Starzetz, was premiered in 2019 by conductor Thomas Wicklein in Altenburg and Gera .
