Lutgert van Buderick

Lutgert van Buderick (* 1383 in Büderich ; † 1453 in Deventer ) was a German nun in the mother house of the Sisters of Life Together .

Life

She joined in 1403 a few years after its foundation in the nurses' home to Deventer one. Rudolf Dier van Muiden , a priest in the Florenshuis Heer and from 1432 rector of the five Deventer sister houses, wrote biographies of the earliest followers, including the life of Sister Lutgert van Buderick. It is reported that she asked for the heaviest work and could no longer do it in old age.
