Luther Monument (Norderney)

The Luther Monument is a memorial on the East Frisian island of Norderney in Lower Saxony .

It is a statue of Martin Luther on a pedestal. The monument was from which Oldenburg coming sculptor and stonemason Bernhard Högl manufactured and, 400. Luther's birthday, November 10, 1883 Church Street in front of the ship of the island church erected. The dedication inscription on the base names the Lutheran island community as the donor of the monument.
