Lutz Brade

Lutz Brade (* 1938 ) is a German theologian .

Life

Lutz Brade studied history, education and Protestant theology . In 1974 he received his doctorate at the theological faculty of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen with his dissertation Investigations on the Scholienbuch of Theodorus Bar Konai : the inheritance of Theodorus von Mopsuestia in the Nestorian church .

In 1990 Brade published for the first time on Jewish history and culture in Herford , later in particular on the situation of the Jews in Herford in the Third Reich .

More recently, Lutz Brade wrote about the history of the Yazidis , especially about the establishment of the Ezidische Akademie in Hanover .
