Lutz Fischer (born March 25, 1960 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Fischer played for Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga and in the 2nd Bundesliga . In the 1983/84 season , Eintracht finished ninth in the final table, while Fischer made his debut in the Bundesliga. He was substituted on on the 5th and 9th match day by coach Aleksandar Ristić against 1. FC Köln and Hamburger SV . Both games were lost away from home. In the meantime, Fischer played in the amateur team of Eintracht, before he came to 13 further appearances in the professional team in the 1986/87 season . Eintracht was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1985. With Fischer the 17th place in the table was occupied in League Two, followed by relegation to the amateur camp.

Currently, Dr. Lutz Fischer Professor at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart (Germany). He heads the Institute for Food Science and Biotechnology.
