Lutz Kirchhof
Lutz Kirchhof (* 1953 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German lutenist .
Kirchhof began his training on the lute at an early age. The first public appearances were made from the age of twelve. In 1972 he was the national winner of the Jugend musiziert competition . He studied with Lothar Fuchs at the Frankfurt University of Music and passed his exam with distinction. From 1973 he worked in the Frankfurt studio for early music. Since 1996 he has given concerts with Martina Kirchhof as Duo Kirchhof . Concert tours have taken him to Japan, France, Norway, Tunisia and Israel. His interpretations have been documented through numerous CD productions and radio recordings.
