The Luxembourg Institute for Standardization, Approval, Safety and Quality of Products and Services (French: Institut Luxembourgeois de la Normalization, de l'Accréditation, de la Sécurité et qualité des produits et services , ILNAS ) is a Luxembourger founded on May 20, 2008 Authority that deals with the topics of standardization, accreditation, metrology , consumer protection and data security . The authority, which is subordinate to the Luxembourg Ministry of Economic Affairs ( Ministère de l'Économie ), covers areas that are covered by various authorities in Germany and other countries, for example the German Institute for Standardization , private law organizations, the Weights and Measures Office , the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety , the Federal Office for Information Security and others.
ILNAS is the Luxembourg representative at the International Organization for Standardization .
