The Luz Ridge is a 22 km long mountain range in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises to the east of the Gablenz Ridge in the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains . Petrellfjellet and Snøbjørga belong to it .
The mountain range was discovered and named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar researcher Alfred Ritscher . It is named after Walter Luz (1898–1969), Commercial Director of Lufthansa .
