Lymphoretic organ

Lymphoretic organs are organs that consist of a basic structure of reticular connective tissue and free cells, especially lymphocytes . The reticular cells have a support function and can form collagen and reticular connective tissue fibers . A connective tissue capsule forms the organ closure . The lymphoreticular organs include the lymph nodes and the spleen .

In contrast to lymphoreticular organs, the basic framework in lymphoepithelial organs is formed by an epithelium .
