Coin of Lysias

Lysias was an Indo-Greek king who lived at the end of the second century BC. Ruled. So far it is only known from coins that were found in the Hindu Kush and Punjab . He seems to have ruled shortly after Menandros , although his empire was still considerable.

His coins show his portrait and Greek legends on the obverse, and on the reverse there is an image of a standing Heracles with legends in Kharoshthi .

There is a coin that shows Lysias on one side and Antialkidas on the other. This was seen as evidence of co-membership, but recent research sees it as more of a kind of overprinting.
