Lyxor Asset Management is an investment company . The company, founded in 1998, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the major French bank Société Générale and one of the largest investment companies in Europe with around 156 billion euros in assets under management.

history

Lyxor Asset Management was founded in 1998 and employed more than 200 fund managers at the end of 2006 , who at the time managed more than 1,400 funds and assets of more than EUR 87 billion. At the end of September 2019, the company was already managing 156.7 billion euros in assets under management , 73 billion euros of which in ETFs and other index products.

The company is run in the form of a stock corporation with a share capital of 1.2 million euros and headquarters in Nanterre . Lyxor Asset Management offers exchange-traded funds (ETF), structured products and other alternative investments to institutional investors and private customers. The company is one of the leading providers of ETFs in Europe. In March 2013 Lyxor Asset Management launched two new index ETFs on the stock exchange.

On October 16, 2019, the two product lines ComStage (formerly part of Commerzbank) and Lyxor were merged. The two ETF brands will henceforth operate under the name Lyxor Germany, based in Frankfurt am Main. All Comstage employees were taken over by Lyxor Germany. The range now includes more than 300 fund products.
