The girls' choir at St. Eberhard Cathedral was founded in January 1994 by cathedral music director Martin Dücker . Around 150 girls between the ages of five and eighteen sing in four age groups from the pre-school to the chamber choir. The choir has been in the hands of Domkapellmeister Christian Weiherer since 2016 .

The main task of the choir is liturgical singing in the St. Eberhard Cathedral .

The repertoire ranges from Taizé and Gregorian chants to demanding motets and masses from the 17th to 20th centuries.

Appearances

The choir can mainly be heard in the Stuttgart region in church services and spiritual concerts. He also gives an annual benefit concert in favor of sick children in the Stuttgart region.
