Martin Dücker

Martin Dücker (* 1951 in Essen ) is a German Roman Catholic church musician and singer .

Dücker, who studied at the music academies in Essen and Düsseldorf, was appointed cathedral music director at the St. Eberhard concathedral in Stuttgart in 1993 . In 1994 he founded the girls' choir, the Schola Gregoriana and the cathedral chapel there . In addition to teaching at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart , Dücker is also the co-author of several choral literary works. In 2007 he was appointed cathedral music director. In summer 2016 he handed over his office to Christian Weiherer.
