The Mémorial, Journal Officiel du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg is the official gazette of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg . It is published by the Minister of State imputed Service Central de Législation . A print edition is being produced in the Imprimerie de la Cour Victor Buck, s.à rl in Leudelange .

In 1816 the Mémorial administratif du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (Administrative Memorial of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) was published. In 1832 the name was changed to Mémorial législatif et administratif du Grand-Duché du Luxembourg (Legislative and Administrative Memorial of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg). In 1842 the decision to use the Mémorial as the official gazette was announced by Wilhelm II of the Netherlands in the Mémorial.

In 1854 the name was changed again to Memorial du Grand-Duché du / de Luxembourg (Memorial of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg). This name was retained until 1961, when the Mémorial with Mémorial: Journal officiel du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (Official Journal of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) and received its current name. From this point on, the Mémorial was no longer issued as a uniform legal gazette, but in the following three parts:

  • Part A - Recueil de législation - contains publications on legislation
  • Part B - Recueil administratif et économique - contains government publications and
  • Part C - Recueil spécial des sociétés et associations - contains information on companies and organizations.

With the division into three, the numbering was also restarted, so that the first edition of Part A was published on January 12, 1961.

Information on part A has been available on the Internet since 1952, and parts B and C since 1996.
