Mönstetten

Mönstetten is a district of the municipality of Dürrlauingen in the northern district of Günzburg in Bavarian Swabia . Mindelaltheim , Dürrlauingen and Mönstetten merged as part of the regional reform on May 1, 1978 to form the new municipality of Dürrlauingen.

The church village is about two kilometers north of Dürrlauingen and can be reached via the GZ 11 road.

history

Mönstetten was a fiefdom of the Margraviate of Burgau , which went to different owners. In 1619 Mönstetten with the Seifriedsberg rule was pledged to Countess Maria Fugger zu Kirchheim.
