Dürrlauingen is a municipality in the Swabian district of Günzburg and a member of the Haldenwang administrative community .

history

Until the church is planted

The Counts of Berg-Burgau had ruled Dürrlauingen since the middle of the 12th century. The lords of Westernach had been feudal lords of the village and owners of the village court since 1350. The Fugger family acquired the whole place from the Lords of Westernach in 1533. Dürrlauingen came to the Fugger-Glött counts and was part of the Glött rule . With the Rhine Confederation Act 1806, the place came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, the municipality of Dürrlauingen was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .

fusion

Mindelaltheim, Dürrlauingen and Mönstetten merged as part of the regional reform on May 1, 1978 to form the new municipality of Dürrlauingen.

In 1468 master Ulrich Wieler, chaplain in Dürrlauingen, received a manuscript dedicated to the 24 old Otto von Passau from Jörg Cluber, Frühmesser zu Lauingen .
