Mill (Hairenbuch)
The mill in Hairenbuch , a district of the municipality of Waltenhausen in the district of Günzburg in Bavaria , was built in 1852. The former mill at Herretshofer Straße 5 is a protected architectural monument .
description
The mill building was built on the site of a previous building that was built in 1746. Today's two-storey saddle roof building with plaster structure is marked with the year 1852. The building with five to six window axes has the double door system typical of mills. The front door leads to the living room and the rear to the mill area. In the living area, the furnishings from the construction period such as floorboards, doors with carved rosettes and cross-frame windows have been preserved.
The mill was in operation until 1945. Millstones and numerous tools are still preserved from the mill .
