The Mühlenbräu is a brewery in the Stegaurach district of Mühlendorf ( Upper Franconia ).

history

The mill was granted brewing and serving rights around 1793 . Hence the symbol mill wheel and carp. The Lechner family has been brewing beer since 1826. In the 1970s the name was changed to Merklein-Lechner . Today the brewery is called Mühlenbräu Merklein Mühlendorf.

Types of beer

All year round there is light full beer, dark lager, wheat and Pils. The following beer specialties are available seasonally:

  • from Ash Wednesday to the end of April: March
  • from the end of April to July: May buck
  • from July to mid-October: hermit drink
  • from mid-October to Mardi Gras: Winterbock
